Fall Creek Place Mural - Survey 

 

Thanks for your participation in the Fall Creek Place mural project! The artists would love to hear from you through this survey, and through our in-person community meetings at Grace Apostolic Church on Dec. 6 & 15. 

 

By sharing stories, observations, memories, and histories about your neighborhood, you will contribute to the creation of a large-scale public artwork designed by artists Tiffany Black and Dr. Jarrod Dortch. The mural will explore themes of nature to represent what is collectively shared by all who participate. We also invite you to join us in person: 

 

Tues, Dec 6 - Virtual Walking Tour with Bashiri Asad. The artists invite Bashiri Asad to host a discussion about the evolution of this neighborhood over past decades. We invite you to share your thoughts and stories. (This event is an in-person video screening at the church.)

 

Thurs, Dec 15 - Art-making with Muralist Tiffany Black & Haiku-Writing with Dr. Jarrod Dortch. We will transform stories of the community into poetry and images. These will inform the final mural design.
