Call out for Student & Emerging Artists
The Blue Room Theatre is launching a new initiative offering student artists and performers the opportunity to present a 30-minute set on Thursday nights after our season shows.
These post-show sessions are designed to give new and emerging artists a chance to trial their work in front of a welcoming audience, while also helping to keep The Blue Room Bar buzzing after performances during our season program.
We’re inviting a range of musical performance styles.
Solo artists and small acts (1–3 performers) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Please note:
• This is an unpaid opportunity.
• Submitting an EOI does not guarantee inclusion in the program.
• Session times will be allocated by Blue Room staff based on several factors, including the information provided in your application.

To keep the sessions easy to manage, performances should be unplugged or minimal-tech where possible; for example, acoustic or plug-and-play setups without heavy technical requirements.
