Welcome to Kiteboarding Australia's Kiter's Rescue Portal!

Thank you for taking the time to use this portal, it should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
The purpose of this portal is to record rescues conducted by kiteboarders on Victorian beaches, in order to inform best practice for up-skilling kiteboarders to be able to perform rescues on the people around them safely.

Insights gained from this portal will also tie into Kiteboarding Australia’s Beach Safety Volunteer program by giving those individuals resources to up skill and feel confident performing rescues.

It is important that you answer all questions to the best of your ability; there are no right or wrong answers.

There are 3 sections:
1. Current Rescue
2. About You
3. Previous Rescues in the Past 12 Months

Please carefully read the following:
Do you have multiple rescues to log? After completing all sections the first time, the survey will loop to the beginning again - this is so you can log another 'Current Rescue' individually if you wish.

You do not need to complete sections 2 and 3 more than once - i.e. when logging further current rescues; however you must answer the Yes/No prompt question at the start of sections 2 and 3 to send you to the competition page prior to submitting your response.

All responses will be anonymous and confidential. No identifying information will be used in any publications arising from the research.
