POSTER:
Attendees at any level are welcome to submit an abstract for a poster presentation.  There is no mandatory poster format.  Posters will be uploaded to a symposium website with the presenter’s name, institution, and email address prior to the symposium.  Along with the poster, presenters are encouraged to also submit a 3-5 minute video presenting the poster that will also be uploaded onto the website.  The purpose of the video is to walk attendees through the contents of the poster as if you were presenting it to them live at the meeting.

Presenters must submit their posters (pdf files) and videos (mp4 files) to ResearchAdminAsst@sanfordhealth.org by Tuesday, June 1.  Please name your files with your first and last names so that the files are easily identified.  In order to make the posters available to attendees to view, late poster submissions will not be accepted.

You will be asked to select one of three poster sections for your poster:
  • Basic Science (includes areas such as molecular and cell biology, organismal biology, animal science, chemistry, and physics)
  • Biomedical Science (includes areas such as translational research, human health and disease, animal models of disease, and clinical research)
  • Social / Behavioral Science (includes areas such as psychology, sociology, behavior, health disparities, and education research)
Each poster section will have a corresponding discussion session during the symposium where attendees will be able to ask questions of the presenters and discuss the science.  Presenters are required to attend the discussion session corresponding to the poster section they select for their poster.
