This Supplemental Questionnaire gathers job-specific information in order to expedite the selection process and address administrative matters. You must possess the minimum qualifications as stated in the job announcement at the time you submit your application in order to be considered for this position. You must be at least 18 years or older at the time of hire. You must be willing to live in shared housing with other camp staff. You must be able to secure your own transportation to and from Camp. * 1. The 2023 Camp Mather season begins April 15 and ends September 24. The season is divided into three phases: early crew, high season, and wrap-up crew. Food Service Workers work 6-days a week and staff a variety of shifts including weekends. Please select the following phases in which you are available to work at Camp Mather.

IMPORTANT: Candidates will only be considered if available at a minimum during the high season, and hiring priority will be given to those who can work early crew, high season AND wrap-up crew, in full.

I can work the early crew from April 15 - May 19

I can work the high season from May 20 - August 18

I can work the wrap-up crew from August 19 - September 24

WORK AND HOUSING CONDITIONS: I certify that I understand that Camp Mather staff live in shared housing and that Food Service Workers work primarily in the kitchen. This position includes working both indoors and outdoors, exposure to sun, snow, rain, high/low temperatures, potential wildfire smoke and will regularly encounter bugs and insects.

LOCATION: I certify that I understand that Camp Mather is located in the Sierra mountains near Yosemite National Park, approximately 180 miles east of San Francisco and that I am required to find my own method of transportation to and from Camp Mather.

PRE-HIRE POLICY: I certify that I have read, understand and agree to the policies and expectations as described in the "2023 Camp Mather Pre-Hire Policies" document.

CELL PHONE & INTERNET: I certify that I understand that the Camp Mather camp grounds has very limited Cell Phone and Internet/Wi-Fi service.

AGE REQUIREMENT: If selected for the position, I certify that I am age 18 years or older at the time of hire.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: I certify that I am a high school graduate, OR that I have received my GED, OR that I will have graduated from high school by June 2022 AND that I have at least six (6) months of food handling experience in the food service industry as a food service worker, kitchen helper, waiter, busboy, or similar position; OR that I have completed 12 (twelve) semester units or equivalent credits in Food Service, Culinary Arts, Dietetics and/or Nutrition.

(Documentation, in PDF format, may comprise a high school diploma; OR a letter from your high school, signed by an official representative, which states that you will have graduated by June 2022; OR a copy of your GED; OR a transcript from your most recent semester/quarter of college attended.)
