Celebrating 20 years of Customer Contact Excellence

MECCA is 20 years young! In recognition of this milestone, we have made some changes to the traditional awards and have created two new categories.
 
Community
This award recognizes outstanding voluntary contributions made by contact centres to the citizens of Manitoba between August 1, 2018-August 1, 2019. The award recipient is selected for demonstrating tremendous spirit and enriching both their workplace and their community. 
*Site visit required for judging to be held September 9 - 27, 2019.
 
Environment
This award recognizes contact centres which implement appropriate space, colour, ergonomic design and relevant programs to support a healthy workplace. 
*Site visit required for judging to be held September 9 - 27, 2019.
 
Health and Wellness - NEW
This award recognizes contact centres that help their employees enhance their personal and professional lives through a wide-ranging wellness program. 
*Site visit required for judging to be held September 9 - 27, 2019.
 
People's Choice - NEW
The MCCA's People's Choice Award for Manitoba’s Favourite Company for Customer Service will be chosen through public vote.  Who will Manitoba choose?  Will it be you?​
Basic criteria to apply:
Open to all Call Centres with a Manitoba presence
Category emphasis – understanding and responding to customer needs as well as overall experience.
*No site visit required
 
Innovation - formerly Technology
This award recognizes contact centres that have employed new or enhanced technology, processes, social media, reporting and/or organizational change in order to improve their customer and/or employee experience. 
*Site visit required for judging to be held September 9 - 27, 2019.
 
Employee Engagement - formerly Employee Satisfaction
This award recognizes contact centres where employee surveys boast of job accomplishment and career fulfillment.
*No site visit required. A link will be sent to you to distribute to your team on September 9, 2019 and will remain open until end of day September 20, 2019
 
Training and Performance - formerly 2 separate categories
This award recognizes contact centres that demonstrate a dedication to developing the skills of its workforce and that provide opportunities for Industry advancement and future growth. 
*Site visit required for judging to be held September 9 - 27, 2019.
