Sports Injury, Rehabilitation and Prevention for Health (SIRPH), University of Queensland <br>Looking for volunteers with pain at the base of the knee cap for sensory testing in patellar tendinopathy
Thank you for your interest in our study. We are seeking volunteers who have pain at the bottom of their knee cap (patellar tendon) to undergo some tests of your sensation e.g pressure, touch and temperature. The following survey will help us identify if your condition is suitable to participate in the study.

SELECTION SURVEY INFORMATION SHEET
PROJECT TITLE: Quantitative Sensory Testing in Patellar Tendinopathy
INVESTIGATORS: Bill Vicenzino, Aoife Stephenson, Rebecca Mellor, Viana Vuvan, Brooke Coombes, Paul van Wilgen, Melanie Plinsinga, Michel Brink

WHAT IS THE STUDY ABOUT?
We are collecting detailed information about different types of sensation (heat, cold, pressure) in people with Patellar tendinopathy and comparing this with the information obtained from people who do not have Patellar tendinopathy. This will contribute to our knowledge of some of the physiological processes occurring in tendinopathy, and will help us to develop more effective treatments. You will be required to undergo testing at UQ, including physical tests, questionnaires and a number of sensation tests for heat, cold and pressure.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
This short questionnaire/survey (10-15 minutes) requests information about your Patellar tendon (knee) pain and other possible symptoms as well as some general questions e.g your age, weight, sport etc.

AIMS OF THIS SURVEY?
The aim of this survey is to confirm that you have or do not have Patellar tendinopathy, as well as ensuring that it is appropriate for you to participate in the study.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU ANSWER THIS SURVEY?
We will contact you to inform you if you meet/do not meet the selection criteria for the study.
