Sustainable Palm Oil Communities is a project started by Chester Zoo. It aims to increase the demand for sustainable palm oil one community at a time, by bringing organisations together to achieve the same goal.

Dorset is joining the movement to adopt sustainable palm oil policies and make sustainable palm oil products available to the public. The Dorset Sustainable Palm Oil Community was created with the goal of promoting products that contain sustainable palm oil in order to protect our planet's wonderful rainforests and the amazing species that call them home.

This Pledge Form is the first step to becoming a Champion. Once this is confirmed we will provide you with the Post Pledge Form and Supplier Survey. By completing this Pledge Form you commit to sourcing sustainable palm oil and making at least one change.

Make a long term commitment to ensure that, where palm oil is present in our food supply chain, it comes from sustainable sources

Sustainable Palm Oil Communities is an initiative led by Chester Zoo and partners. Efeca, as your community partner, will promote all organisations committed to participating in the Dorset Sustainable Palm Oil Community initiative, but we will remove organisations if we feel that they are not working towards the initiative's shared aim. We hope to share some great news stories with you soon!
