Introduction and Demographics

Question Title

* 1. This survey asks questions that allow COYOTE RI to measure how US sex workers who did in-person work before the pandemic are experiencing COVID19. You will not be asked for your name or other identifying information that could be used to violate your anonymity /privacy.

This research is being conducted by Call Off Your Old Tired Ethics Rhode Island (COYOTE RI), a grassroots sex workers’ rights organization based in Providence, RI. We hope to use your responses to create an impact report to advocate for aid and legislation in our efforts and to fight for efforts that ensure sex workers can access public services during future pandemics.

This survey will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. For anyone who would benefit from a trigger or content warning, please know that some of the questions might be triggering, surrounding stigma, discrimination and violence. At the end of the survey, you will find a list of support services and resources. You can skip any questions you do not wish to answer, and you may stop taking the survey at any time. If you have any questions, please contact COYOTE RI at info@coyoteri.org.

We recognize that the United States resides on occupied Indigenous land, and the typical map of the U.S. contains hundreds of sovereign Indigenous nations. Because of the particular legal and cultural responses to COVID-19 in the U.S., the lockdowns on borders, and where COYOTE RI is based, we are choosing to limit responses to the U.S., so we are not asking for international responses.

Do you consent to take this survey and are you an in person sex worker in the US?
