2027 Regional Principal of the Year Nomination

The Regional Principal of the Year Awards are designed to recognize outstanding principals in Alaska for their leadership in their district and region in Alaska.

To be considered for Region Principal of the Year, the nominee:
  • Must be an active principal of a public, middle level or high school in Alaska. Middle level and high schools are defined as those containing some portion of grades 6 through 12.
  • Must be a current individual active member of AASSP at the time of selection and throughout the year in which they are nominated.
  • Must have served as a principal at one or more middle level or high schools for three or more consecutive school years.
