Dementia care: A comprehensive approach to support aging in place

Presented by: Megan Bailes and Kevin Grunden
As our population continues to age, the prevalence and impact of dementia will also increase. Occupational therapists have the skills to address the functional deficits and quality of life issues common with these clients and their families and we should be leading the way in providing optimal care for those with dementia. This two-day advanced workshop is designed to give you the evidence-based and hands-on skills needed to provide holistic care for this population, enhance dementia care programs at their setting, and provide effective caregiver and staff training programs.
