Introduction

Horrocks Beach is a popular coastal holiday town.  To ensure the area can continue to be enjoyed and to properly plan for future development in the area, it is important to identify current coastal hazards, how these hazards are going to change into the future and how this may impact the way we use and live near the coast.

To plan for managing coastal risks, we need to understand what is important about the coastal environment from the community's viewpoint (including permanent locals, weekenders/regular visitors and tourists alike).

This survey asks you about the things you enjoy most about the beaches and areas of Horrocks and how important these things are to you. Your responses will help the project team understand the values of the area, and will inform the evaluation of options to manage these risks later in the project.

This survey should only take 5 to 10 minutes of your time. Your answers are anonymous.
