KP LAUNCH Employee Engagement Form

As part of its commitment to improve community health, KP offers hundreds of paid internship opportunities each year through its KP LAUNCH programs. KP LAUNCH provides low-income youth, who are underrepresented in the health care workforce coming from underserved communities, with exposure to various careers in health. For you, the program offers professional development and the personal rewards that come with helping others succeed.

Depending on your interests and availability, you have the opportunity to engage youth as either a supervisor, mentor, or guest speaker/panelist.

As a supervisor, you're able to play an essential role in facilitating an intern's professional work experience at Kaiser Permanente.

As a mentor, you're able to provide real-world, relatable experience that interns can learn from while developing and creating their own experiences towards their career goals.

As a guest speaker/panelist, you're able to help emphasize mentorship, relationship-building, and the improvement of interpersonal skills to help complement the interns' professional development.

This form should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete.
