1. Intro

I am writing a book entitled Teaching Justice: Solving Social Justice Problems through Teaching which will detail the experiences, approaches, challenges and successes of professors who teach about justice in general, social justice and activism in the college classroom.

I hope to discover how YOU are integrating criminal justice topics into a larger social justice perspective; specifically, I hope to learn your perspectives on student apathy and your methods of engaging students on justice issues via "service learning" approaches. In order to gain as broad a range of views and practices as possible, I am surveying the membership of national and international criminal justice and criminology organizations and/or divisions within those organizations.
