The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health is launching several online forums which will allow members to exchange ideas and connect with others with similar interests. The forums will be open to all faculty and staff of ASPPH-member Schools and Programs of Public Health. To join, submit your contact information below. For verification purposes, email address must be your university email address.
The forums which are currently available are:
Environmental Health Education
Description: Sharing of resources and approaches to educate/train students in environmental health; share research to advance our knowledge of the impact of environmental and occupational exposures on human health.
Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Practice
Description: Sharing of resources and information around issues related to preparing public health students interprofessionally for collaborative practice. All teaching, learning, and practice topics are welcomed.
Maternal and Child Health Education
Description: Sharing of promising practices and resources to support the training of students interested in pursuing careers focused on MCH and the training of current MCH professionals. In addition, the forum supports the sharing of research focused on improving the health of all mothers, children, and families.
Technology and Education Innovations
Description: Sharing of information around technological innovations, educational theories/methods, and assessment strategies that enable faculty to enhance their teaching for improving student learning outcomes.

Continuing Education/Lifelong Learning
Description: Sharing of best practices related to lifelong learning/continuing education. Strategies for engagement of the public health community in programs, content development, models, methodology, and resources for workforce development in different contexts and stages of professional life.
Because the forums are member-managed, ASPPH is also looking for individuals to function as discussion moderators.
