UK veterinarians' perception of behavioural support and behaviour medications.

There is a strong link between veterinary surgeons and animal behaviourists. A thorough physical examination is fundamental to reach an appropriate behavioural diagnosis and behaviour modifying drugs are increasingly used in the treatment of companion animal behaviour problems. Drugs should never be used to treat behaviour problems without a concurrent behavioural modification and the vet-behaviourist team should work together to improve the animal behaviour and welfare. This brief survey is meant to investigate the vets' perception of behaviour medications and their collaboration with animal behaviourists. All the responses will be reported anonymously and in aggregate with the responses of other participants. No personal details will be disclosed or visible to other respondents and any personal detail will be securely stored.

We kindly ask you to take 10 minutes of your time and contribute to this survey.
