What are you looking for in a roommate? The roommate selection process is dynamic and has many variables. To give us the maximum potential for assigning you a compatible roommate, please be honest and thorough when answering these questions. New students may be placed in single rooms, but please keep in mind that our older and returning students have first priority when we assign singles. 
Our housing placement strives to embrace our diverse population.  You may not be placed with a student with the same interests as you, but we want to do our best to avoid matches that are incompatible - the more information you give us, the better! Some of your answers may also be used at the beginning of the year to help students get to know each other as well as aid in the transition to the new school year.
