Friends of UW Health will be considering grant applications from external organizations that serve UW Health patients. Friends Community Impact Grants support UW Health partner organizations that provide direct programs and services to UW Health patients and families. The purpose of this grant program is to further Friends’ mission to enhance the experience of patients and families served by the hospitals. Friends grants approximately $100,000 yearly. Friends encourage grant applications of all sizes.

Funding requests must be submitted online by October 1. Applications will be reviewed by the Grants Committee, and you may be contacted for further information. Selected requests will be presented to the Friends Executive Committee and Board of Directors for approval in December, and all applicants will be notified of the decisions of the Board by December 31. Grant funds must be spent by June 1.
