LaSalle Parish Schools Re-Opening Survey

LaSalle Parish School Board is dedicated to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. Based on guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Governor John Bel Edwards's Office, and the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE), we are developing a plan for the 2020-2021 school year. While we believe that students learn best while physically attending school, other delivery methods will be implemented, as needed.

Our back to school plan will depend heavily on the Governor's Proclamation and declared Phases of Re-Opening. Although the exact details can not be finalized until we are closer to the start of the school year, the district is planning on three possible scenarios: a normal (face-to-face) start to the school year, a full at-home start with only distance education in place, or a blended approach of some face-to-face instructional days and some distance education days. Throughout the planning stage, we will certainly do our best to keep parents, staff, and community stakeholders informed.

As we develop plans for the upcoming school year, we value your feedback. Please take a moment to answer a few brief questions. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to make the best decisions for our students and staff.
