Thank you for your interest in the $1,000 Outdoors Intervention “Scholarship."
Studies have shown that leisure time spent outdoors, especially in nature, can improve focus and creativity, while reducing stress and anxiety. KKR Wellness Works is investing in teams that are interested in improving their mental health by engaging in the great outdoors. Go on a group hike or consider a kayaking or rock climbing excursion.
Applications will be accepted through Monday, August 12th at 5PM EST. We’ll inform teams if they’ve been awarded a scholarship by Wednesday, August 14th. There are a limited number of awards available.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:
*The activity must take place outdoors, ideally in a natural setting and on a weekday evening or weekend (creativity will also be considered).
*Only “teams” can apply and should be based on business or functional area (e.g., Real Estate Credit or Financial Planning & Analysis); a high participation rate from your team (by percentage) is also required.
*The activity must allow for individuals of all fitness levels to participate.
*Teams will need to provide images from the activity along with feedback (i.e. # of participants, 1-2 sentences about how it went, notable reactions/participant quotes).
*This must be a new activity, not something that is already planned.
