Ahead of the National Sports Convention, Australasian Leisure Management and Felton Industries are conducting this targeted industry survey to better understand how outdoor sporting environments are performing and where they are not keeping up with expectations.
Across councils, schools, universities, clubs and venues, outdoor facilities play a critical role in the experience of both participants and spectators. However, many organisations continue to face common challenges including insufficient infrastructure, maintenance pressures, accessibility requirements, and increasing expectations around quality and usability.
This survey is designed to identify those gaps.
Our goal is to build a clear, practical understanding of:
- Where facilities are performing well
- Where they are under pressure
- Where investment will deliver the greatest impact
