Health Reset for Arts Workers

Hello arts community! Did you get out of the routine of self care or indulge in some stress eating during this last year?

One of the bright spots of the pandemic was the chance to reconnect as arts professionals. Let’s create an opportunity for those in the artistic community to continue to stay connected as our businesses open back up AND do something good for ourselves.

It's time to make ourselves a priority again!

Jessica Tomasin, who wears many hats in the music industry is also a certified personal trainer. She's offered to teach a free workout class once a week at the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts. The class will be for all levels and all you would need to bring is yourself, some water, and a workout mat if you have one (but not necessary). The workouts will last 45-60 minutes which will include a warm up and warm down with a focus on strength, endurance, and cardio. 

Following class, Wortham Center will have complimentary coffee & tea available at the café so we can enjoy some conversation before work.

We're still working out details but if you could take our brief survey and let us know what day and time would best work for you, that will help us finalize details. 

We want this to be a way to help with the overall wellness within our arts community, (you can't pour from an empty cup!) as well as a way to keep us all connected and supporting one another as life starts to pick up again.
