Warren County School's Parent Survey and Virtual Academy Application

Dear Parents of Warren County Schools Students,

As we prepare for the possibility of reopening schools for in-person learning, we would like to know how you feel about this topic. Please answer the questions below. In the event that the Warren County Board of Education elects to move the district to Plan A or Plan B for in-person learning, there will be a Virtual Academy that the district must offer in accordance with the state requirements. If you would like your child to be enrolled in the Virtual Academy rather than in-person learning please fill out the Virtual Academy Application at the bottom of this form.

WARREN COUNTY SCHOOLS VIRTUAL ACADEMY APPLICATION 2020 - 21

In accordance with the mandate that was out in place by Governor Cooper's office, Warren County Schools must allow for a virtual academy even if schools open for in-person learning. The stipulations of Warren County School's Virtual Academy are listed below

Students that enroll in the academy must remain remote for the duration of the school year.
Students will be responsible for all assigned work and deadlines to be turned in electronically.
Students will have access to teachers for instructional and contact purposes similar to the process used while the district was in Plan C.

All applications must be received by December 1, 2020

As a parent/guardian, by entering my name below, I understand that the choice I make concerning my child's instructional model option(face to face or virtual academy) beginning the second semester can not be changed once submitted.
