In light of COVID-19, DHSPNY and NYCON are working to pivot the upcoming Conversations on Local History to be hosted online. We are appreciative of the positive response so far, from those who have registered, expressed interest, and submitted comments or questions regarding the accessibility of the regional schedule.

If you are unable to attend a virtual or in-person Conversations on Local History, we have developed additional channels of communication and ways for you to participate in the DHSPNY Statewide Documentation Planning Project. This 15 minute survey is one way to help us understand a wider range of responses to your organization’s collecting practices and perspective on local history. Additionally, keep an eye out on the DHPSNY Facebook Community Group for more informal conversations around these topics.

Thank you for your interest and support, and for the continued flexibility in this time of necessary changes.
