The AHA|SA is aware of the critical workforce shortages currently facing the hotel and hospitality industry.
We are having discussions with various government departments and different stakeholders about possible solutions, including attracting overseas workers and encouraging working holiday visa holders to come to SA, as well as working with Ukrainian arrivals.
The AHA|SA has put together a short survey, to gain a better understanding of what the industries needs are at the moment, in terms of the number and types of job vacancies.
The results of this survey will be used in our discussions with government, to help quantify and demonstrate what the jobs and skills shortages are.
