In our regular work lives we have lots of meetings about the work, projects, health and safety; we have meetings to problem solve and share ideas; we have meetings to talk about/evaluate people, provide feedback and conduct performance reviews. Rarely do we have meetings to reflect on, and specifically talk about how and what biases have crept in that influence how we think and talk about people.
The We CAN: Make Space Reflection Series provides a self-reflection training experience to create intentional conversations towards opportunities for meaningful change.
The Reflection Series Focuses on 4-Parts:
PART 1: The Introduction “Or Could It Actually Be Me?”
Gets us started in becoming comfortable with feeling uncomfortable when we practice self-reflection to explore our own biases in the workplace.
PART 2: (Sometimes) It’s Not You. (Sometimes) It’s Me.
Explores the workplace circle and who you surround yourself with.
PART 3: When Bias Has the Strongest Voice.
Explores why some voices are stronger than others.
PART 4: Move Over Bias – It’s Time to “Make Space”.
Explores “who has a seat at the table” and what it means to “Make Space”.
Upon completion of the Reflection Series, you earn 2 Gold Seal Credits.
