DAL: Awards Dalia Rutkunas-My name is Dalia Rutkunas and I would like to be considered for the Director At Large: Awards position. I have been an oncology nurse all my career working within hematology, BMT, infusion and radiation-oncology fields. I joined ONS in 2023 and achieved my OCN certification. After relocating to Chicago, IL I joined CCONS and had a great pleasure serving as a Board Buddy in 2024. This experience opened many opportunities to network and meet other oncology professionals within my city. I met great people and established new friendships, supported different cancer charities by participating in charity events, assisted the CCONS Board in organizing educational events and developed a better knowledge about how to support my patients and colleagues better. I am a naturally very grateful person, and I believe the role of Director at Larga for Awards would allow me to use my talent and spread positive energy and encouragement to the CCONS community.
