A new Aquatic Centre? Where?

The State Government is prepared to invest $80 million to build a new regional Aquatic Centre somewhere near the City. It is proposing somewhere "adjacent" to the existing site on Park 2, but has not specified a location. You can suggest where the Government should start looking.

Assuming that the existing Aquatic Centre is destined for demolition, do you believe that a brand new Aquatic Centre MUST be built, again, only on a Park Lands site?
