Have your say:  Where to put a new Aquatic Centre

A new Aquatic Centre?   Where?

The State Government is prepared to invest $80 million to build a new regional Aquatic Centre somewhere near the City.  It is proposing somewhere "adjacent" to the existing site on Park 2, but has not specified a location.  You can suggest where the Government should start looking.
1.Do you support the concept of Adelaide's Park Lands as "Open, Green, Public"?
2.Adelaide is the world's only city built inside a Park. The Adelaide Park Lands are National Heritage-listed and make up only 0.2% of the Adelaide metropolitan area.  Assuming that the existing Aquatic Centre is destined for demolition, do you believe that a brand new Aquatic Centre MUST be built, again, only on a Park Lands site?
3.Would you support a win-win scenario for reclaiming your Open Green Public Park Lands in Denise Norton Park / Pardipardinyilla (Park 2)  and a new landscaped Adelaide Aquatic Centre at a different location?
4.The State Government has powers to acquire any lands it needs.  In what suburb or part of Adelaide should the State Government be looking to establish a new Aquatic Centre?
