Guidance for applicants

Please read the following information before starting the application for the BVA Research Travel Scholarship (Harry Steele-Bodger Scholarship)

  • Please read the guidance notes before applying
  • To complete your applications, you will need details for your project, including where you propose to carry it out, estimated costs, and plans for investigation.
  • You will need to provide details of 2 referees who can email us supporting letters before the application deadline. Applications and references need to be submitted online or by email to policy@bva.co.uk
References
Please ask your referees in plenty of time to send a supporting letter for consideration by the Selection Committee to policy@bva.co.uk. These must be received by 12pm, Friday 5 June 2026.
