The aim of the Family Advisory Committee is to bring together family members who are interested in participating in a regular forum to collaborate with and improve child and youth mental health services in KFL&A.

If you are interested in participating, however foresee financial barriers to your involvement, there may be some financial assistance available for childcare or transportation (please note the committee is currently meeting virtually).

An honourarium may be offered for your participation on the committee.

Next steps: As part of the process, a member from the Family Advisory Committee will have a conversation with you (by telephone) to outline what this role entails, discuss your experiences, and answer any questions you may have. If you are not chosen for the committee, we hope you will be able to be involved in the other ways parents and caregivers will be sharing their views on improving service.
