At the meeting of Cessnock City Council on 4 March 2020, Council resolved to place the Draft 2020-25 Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy on Public Exhibition for a period of 28 days from 11 March to 8 April 2020.  Your feedback is encouraged to make sure we provide the service our community wants and needs.

* 1. The aim of the Strategy  (section 1.1) is to provide a sustainable cost effective waste service to the Cessnock community, while prioritizing waste minimisation and complying with environmental, safety and legislative obligations.
