The Municipal Waste Advisory Council (MWAC) is a standing Council of the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA). This Council has delegated authority to represent WALGA in all matters relating to solid waste management. MWAC is supported by staff within the Environment and Waste team of WALGA.
MWAC is in the process of developing a new Strategic Plan and identifying priority actions for the coming year. As part of this process, we are seeking feedback from a broad range of stakeholders. MWAC aims to advocate on behalf of Local Government, develop policy and deliver programs that benefit the sector. Feedback is sought to ensure that MWAC is meeting the needs of members.
