Kalamazoo Pop-Up Block Party Volunteer

Kalamazoo Block Parties are a series of pop-up events that are designed to connect the youth with Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers in their communities. The series of 4 events including 3 summer events and a Halloween event. The events partner with the neighborhood associations and other local organizations to create a party based on the theme. This year's theme is carnival with sports themed games to allow the kids to be active.

Each Block party is located in a different neighborhood with various times. Please view each date and location below.

Please let us know what dates you are available for and wish to volunteer at. You may absolutely volunteer at more than one event! If you need community service hour forms filled out, we will do that on event day. Once we receive your submission, we will reach back out to you and send you information about the event specifics, the location, parking, and best ideas about what to wear. We typically host these events "rain or shine" but we always keep you informed.
