Green Mountain Transit, working with the City of Montpelier, VTrans and the Sustainable Montpelier Coalition, began a two-year microtransit pilot project in Montpelier in January 2021. The service, called MyRide by GMT, operates weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Three to five vans are on the street during these hours serving virtually all of Montpelier and destinations in Berlin, including CVMC, the Berlin Mall, Granger Road and Shaw’s. Passengers need to request rides via a smartphone, a computer, or a telephone call to GMT.

Using MyRide by GMT will reduce wear and tear on your car, save you money on gasoline and parking, and it could even allow you to give up your car (or your second car) and save a bundle.

Please answer the following questions about your current travel and potential use of MyRide by GMT. This survey is anonymous and you will not be contacted by anyone regarding your answers or for any other reason. Thank you!
