The internet is a powerful tool and today's world requires easy and reliable access to it. In fact, all households need high-quality and affordable access to broadband internet. Broadband is high-speed internet, not dial up. It helps us make video calls, conduct business, take classes for school or work, talk with doctors (telehealth) and much more. People pay an internet service provider to access it, connect via WIFI, or are without access. Use this survey through October 31, 2022, to tell us how you are accessing and using the internet. You can also share issues and suggest improvements.

Your responses will help inform the Kansas City Regional Digital Equity Action Strategy. KC Rising, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Mid-America Regional Council, local governments, businesses, civic leaders and community partners are collaborating to develop it. Broadband infrastructure projects for the nine-county region consisting of Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas, and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri will be among the strategy's outcomes.
