* 1. Do you generally agree with the recommendations from the study to program available KCAG or Kings County transportation funding toward the prioritized list of projects as funds become available?

I generally agree with the prioritized list of projects and recommendations.

I don’t agree with the prioritized list and I have provided my priority projects in the comments section at the end of the survey.

An important transportation improvement for one of the focus corridors is missing and I have added comments in the comments section at the end of the survey.

I would need to read the entire Draft Final Report before being able to answer this question.

* 2. If KCAG and the County had $30 million of transportation funding available in the upcoming cycles, I would select the following projects for programming. (Place checks in the boxes for each project that would be your priority up to a total not to exceed $30 million.)

#1- Roundabout at SR 41 and Jackson Ave. at $10 million.

#2- Roundabout at SR 43 and Idaho Ave. at $9 million.

#3- Guardrail, and ramp modifications along SR 198 from 14th Ave. to 11th Ave. at $3 million.

#4- Island, signing, striping, curbs at SR 41 and Fremont Ave. at $3 million.

#5- Modify left and right turn lanes at SR 41 and Hanford Armona Rd. at $4 million.

#6- Intersection improvements at SR 41 and Lacey Blvd. at $6 million.

#7- Safety countermeasures on SR 43 from Grangeville Blvd. to Fargo Ave. at $5 million.

#8- Lighting, signing and striping improvements at SR 43 and Flint Ave. intersection at $3 million.

#9- Ramp Modifications at SR 41/ SR 198 Interchange at $40 Million Total. A check here would be for initial environmental clearance, right of way acquisition, and design at $8 million (requires future funding at $32 million for construction).
