The Rising Star Award was created to recognize an exceptional individual under the age of 30 who has become an emerging leader in the field of adolescent health in Texas through service, leadership, advocacy, or research. This individual has shown great advancement in contribution to the field and increased levels of leadership and responsibility. People at the forefront of this work and those who have shown exceptional growth deserve gratitude for their achievements.
