Village of Orland Park Seeks Residents’ Feedback.

•The Civic Center was established in the mid 1980s.
•The board is comprised of six members.
Duties:  Oversees the operation of the Civic Center. The Civic Center was created per state statute.

It shall be the duty of the Authority to promote, operate, and maintain expositions, conventions, or theatrical, educational, sports or cultural activities from time to time in the metropolitan area, and in connection therewith, sports, trade or scientific exhibits and to lease or instruct, equip and maintain auditoriums, exposition buildings for such purposes.

RECOMMENDATIONS
•Required by state statute.
•Village ordinance and state law should be consistent. 

The village is inviting residents to offer input on the 17 advisory boards and commissions currently part of local government.
