With over 500 attendees, 50 exhibitors and sponsors, and 36 presentations over two days, the annual NH Behavioral Health Summit, focuses on setting the public policy stage for key legislative and agency initiatives as well as integration and capacity building for primary care, mental health and substance use services. Workshop proposals are invited from advocates, policymakers, professionals and volunteers in behavioral health services including primary health care, mental health services and substance use prevention, treatment and recovery services. The NH Behavioral Health Summit is brought to you by a host committee of sponsors and stakeholders. The host committee reviews over 60 applications each year, far exceeding the number of workshop spaces available.
Goal: NH Behavioral Health Summit supports integrated substance use, mental health and primary care services. We seek to enhance the health and well-being of New Hampshire citizens through thoughtful public policy and quality provision of vital community services.

Conference Objectives:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the changing substance use, mental health, and primary health landscape;
- Share key policy considerations and engage multi-disciplinary audiences in addressing needs and barriers to service provision;
- Promote alignment of evidence-based services, integration and enhanced care coordination;
- Encourage expansion of the workforce relative to health promotion, prevention, early identification and intervention, treatment and recovery supports; and
- Support leadership development including leadership’s role in advancing wellness and self-care throughout heath care.
Workshop presentations must relate to the conference goal and objectives
Presentation Format: The workshop sessions will be in-person and 90-minutes in length.
Review Criteria: Proposals will be reviewed by a committee and selected based on relevance to the conference goal and objectives, with particular interest in workshops that address policy-related issues. Workshop description and objectives should be clear and well defined. The selection committee reserves the option to request additional information in support of the workshop proposal.
