Single-Use Retail Bag Input Survey

Zero Waste Yukon is campaigning to reduce single-use retail bags in Yukon.

Why?

The average single-use bag has a life of just 12 minutes. After a short use, many of these bags end up landfilled or as litter, where they can harm wildlife.

The single-use bag is an icon of our throwaway society. Using fossil fuels to create something so short-lived, which can blow away at the slightest breeze and pollute for centuries doesn't make sense - particularly when there is a ready alternative, the reusable bag.

With Canadians using over 2.86 billion single-use plastic bags each year, it's time to change. Share your input to help us support a bag reduction policy that works for everyone.

Thanks for filling out this brief survey, answers are anonymous.
