St. Landry and St. Martin parishes along with the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation have recently engaged a consulting firm to develop a business plan for a French immersion center and cultural business incubator in the former St. Luke Hospital. This engagement came out of prior work done by volunteers and city and parish government. There is a vision for Arnaudville to become a cultural destination for those interested in being immersed in the French culture and speaking the French language and those wanting to develop businesses to enhance and grow the economy.
As residents and business owners in Arnaudville, the hospital district and surrounding communities in St. Landry and St. Martin parishes, we are seeking your input on the proposed French immersion center and cultural business incubator.
