Our Kids Can't Wait: A Grass Roots Effort for Legislative Advocacy
What is legislative advocacy?
Legislative advocacy is working with individual lawmakers and lawmaking bodies to gain support for your cause or initiative, for the needs of a specific population, for an organization or group of organizations, or for specific services.
If you are interested in being a legislative advocate for Huron Valley Schools, you will be joining a cadre of parents, community members and staff members who are choosing to provide a collective voice for the benefit of HVS students. As a legislative advocate you will be asked to take on certain responsibilities based on your survey preferences.
