The Gunnedah Youth Band Night Project is a youth-led initiative where local young people take the reins in planning and delivering awesome live music nights for the community.
The Youth Band Night Project is supported by Gunnedah Conservatorium and coordinated by E.S Emojong Consultancy, ensuring the committee has guidance, resources, and support to bring their ideas to life.

As a committee member, you’ll work as part of a team to create these events every few months — helping with everything from choosing performers and promoting the gig, to setting up the venue and creating an amazing atmosphere on the night.

These events are a chance to:
  • Showcase and support original youth talent
  • Foster creativity and self-expression
  • Create safe, alcohol-free spaces where young people can connect, celebrate, and belong
You don’t need to be a musician to be part of the committee — just bring your ideas, energy, and willingness to be part of a team. You’ll build valuable skills in leadership, event planning, and teamwork, gain behind-the-scenes music industry insight, and create something you can be proud to put on your resume or applications.

We’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for all participants and committee members to thrive!
