Slash Collection Survey: Summer 2011

Jefferson County is researching the possibility of expanding the current slash collection program to include a curbside chipping program.We want to know if there is a need, interest, and participation level significant enough to warrant the program. 

Curbside chipping program details:

  • Resident would schedule appointment and be there to help
  • Resident would bring slash to the roadside on the property
  • Resident would be responsible for spreading or removal of chips
  • Participant would pay for the service
