Consultation on Implementing an Enhanced Designation Area for Additional HMO Licensing

This 10 week consultation ending on 14 July at 5pm is about the implementation of an enhanced designation using our powers under the Housing Act 2004, section 56.  We welcome the views of landlords, letting agents, tenants and anyone with an interest in HMOs. You'll be asked to provide your name plus either your email or postal address so that we can contact you about the outcome of our proposal. If you're happy for your details to be held by us, we can save them for up to 5 years to contact you about future consultations or revisions to the licensing scheme. Your details won't be shared and will only be used as part of this consultation's background data. The report we present to Cabinet (on 24 July) will take into account the feedback from this survey. All personal data will be anonymised.
