Evaluating Potential Foodware Policies in Truckee

Reducing solid waste and litter are important community priorities in Truckee. To support these priorities, the Town is considering opportunities to reduce the use of single-use foodware and expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam). A stakeholder working group held six public meetings this spring to consider options and developed three recommendations. As a business owner who is directly impacted by this policy, we ask for your feedback on these recommendations by responding to this 5-minute survey.
Survey results will help inform the final recommendations that will be considered by Truckee Town Council this summer and will help the Town to develop business support programs to assist with implementation if the policies are adopted.
