The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is conducting this voluntary survey on behalf of Queensland and its schooling sectors to contribute to the national monitoring of the Australian Curriculum.

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) has invited every state and territory to report on their use of the Australian Curriculum v9.0 as part of its ongoing monitoring of the curriculum's use and effectiveness.

Your responses will inform Queensland's 2026 response to ACARA and help shape future refinements to the Australian Curriculum. Queensland sector-based response data will be shared with the relevant sector.

ACARA’s Monitoring 2026 focuses on:

• P–6 English, HASS, Health and Physical Education, Mathematics, Technologies
• Years 7–10 Civics and Citizenship, History, Health and Physical Education, Technologies
• General capabilities: Digital literacy, Ethical understanding, Intercultural understanding, Personal and social capability
• Cross-curriculum priority: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures.

Note: the remaining areas of the curriculum will be covered in ACARA’s Monitoring in 2027.

Survey closes at 5.00pm on Wednesday 9 September, 2026.

Your responses are confidential. No individual or school is identifiable in the survey. QCAA collects limited background information, including sector and school location classification, to understand whether experiences differ across contexts. Please avoid entering any personal information in this form.
