Transport is second only to electricity globally as a leading source of emissions that contribute to climate change. Freight is the fastest growing segment of transport-related climate emissions and yet the gap between expectations by regulators and stakeholders and the commercially available solutions for companies is enormous.

Climate ambition was expressed in the Paris Agreement, but all the pieces are not yet in place. Who needs to be involved…and in what way? BSR's Future of Fuels invites you to its latest stakeholder forum to discuss key questions with our members The Coca Cola Company, Royal Dutch Shell, Westport Innovations, Walmart, PepsiCo, United Parcel Service (UPS) and other stakeholders trying to answer these questions for Future Freight in a climate-compatible world:

1.  What is the North Star for freight sustainability in the US and globally?
2.  How do companies define progress? What are the milestones?
3.  What are the key gaps for companies to address? Government? Collaboration?

In addition, BSR is pleased to announce new speakers:
  • Bill Van Amburg, Senior Vice President; Truck Initiative Leader, CALSTART;
  • Cheryl Bynum, National Program Director, SmartWay, U.S. EPA;
  • Angie Farrag-Thibault, Director of Transport and Logistics, BSR.

Date/Time: November 1, 2016 / 12:00 - 4:00pm
