The SUNY Downstate hospital building is currently struggling with enormous facility challenges and a huge budget deficit. In response, SUNY is developing a plan for a stronger Downstate that will enhance the health sciences university, preserve inpatient services in partnership with other hospitals, expand outpatient services to better meet community needs, and address healthcare disparities. The State is supporting this effort by way of a major investment of more than $300 million.

The SUNY Downstate team would like to invite you to take a brief survey about the future of SUNY Downstate and how it can best serve and address the needs of Central Brooklyn residents. This survey is part of a stakeholder engagement process with members of the diverse communities that Downstate serves. Your input will help to ensure that community needs and priorities inform the plans for Downstate as they are being crafted.

The survey takes 3-5 minutes to complete. Thank you for your time and commitment to a stronger Downstate.
