Economic and public safety conditions over the past few years have been challenging for East Carson Street property owners and businesses. We have seen better days and feel the time is now to ensure that we see even better days soon. East Carson Street needs to be positioned to benefit from economic growth in our region.

For many months, local property and business owners have been meeting and working closely with South Side-based community organizations and Councilman Bob Charland. We have been exploring how a more managed district can deliver services like safety, marketing, and public space improvements along East Carson Street. Through this survey, we want to gain your input on what you feel is most important and how you can support addressing those priorities.

Sincerely,
John DeMauro,
Property & Business Owner, Urban Tap & El Dorado
Chair, East Carson Street District Management Advisory Committee
Chair, South Side Hospitality Partnership

The creation and management of this survey is a partnership between Councilman Bob Charland, East Carson Street District Management Advisory Committee, and the South Side Chamber of Commerce.
